GTA voice changer

GTA voice changer for GTA Online and FiveM

Roleplay servers live on voices, and Voices AI Live gives your character one that fits. It converts your microphone with AI in real time, so other players in GTA Online or on FiveM roleplay servers hear the character, while the game only sees a normal microphone.

Works with GTA V and GTA Online on Windows 10 or later, including FiveM servers. Server rules apply. Not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Cfx.re.

How to use a voice changer with GTA

1

Install Voices AI Live

Download the free Windows app and accept the virtual microphone install. Restart if Windows asks you to.

2

Pick a voice

Preview the voices in the app, or clone your own from a 5-second recording, and select one.

3

Make it your Windows input

In Windows Settings > System > Sound > Input, choose CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable). If the game has its own microphone setting, select it there too.

4

Check the voice settings

In the game or FiveM voice settings, select the Voices AI microphone if there is an input option, and talk.

Voice changers for FiveM roleplay

Many roleplay servers expect a consistent character voice. Clone your own voice for a persona, or pick a character voice for a specific role. Read your server's rules first: some servers have rules about voice changers and soundboards.

Keep your character voice consistent

Pick one voice per character and stick with it, so other players recognize who they are talking to. If you play several characters, clone your own voice for one and use a library voice for another.

GTA voice changer not working? Quick fixes

GTA doesn't list the Voices AI microphone

Start Voices AI Live first, then fully quit and reopen GTA so it rescans audio devices. Look for CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. If it is still missing, restart your computer to finish the virtual microphone install.

Other players hear my normal voice

Make CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) the default input in Windows Settings > System > Sound > Input, then restart GTA.

The voice sounds robotic, choppy, or cuts out

Turn off extra noise suppression in the app you are talking in, close GPU-heavy programs you are not using, and check that your computer meets the Voices AI Live system requirements.

Other people hear an echo or their own voice

Use headphones. Speaker audio leaking into your real microphone gets converted and sent back to everyone.

Questions about this setup

Can I get banned in GTA for using a voice changer?

Voices AI Live does not read, modify, or inject into GTA; the game only sees a microphone, like a USB headset. Rockstar Games's rules on player behavior still apply, so don't use voices to harass or impersonate other players or staff.

Is a voice changer allowed on FiveM servers?

It depends on the server. Voices AI Live only acts as a microphone, but each roleplay server sets its own rules, so check them first.

Is the voice changer free?

Yes. Voices AI Live is free to download and includes free voices. Premium unlocks the rest of the voice library for $9.99/month or $59.99/year.

Is Voices AI Live an official GTA app?

No. Voices AI is not affiliated with GTA. Voices AI Live works as a virtual microphone that you select in your audio settings, the same way you would pick a USB headset.

Is my voice uploaded anywhere?

No. Voice conversion runs locally on your computer. Nothing is recorded or sent to a server; your audio goes straight from Voices AI Live to the app you are using.
